A few years ago I made a conscious effort to save money when I went grocery shopping. I started using coupons and looking for sales. When something was on sale, I stocked up enough to get me through to the next sale. I just don't see the point in paying $4.49 for a 12 pack of Coke or Pepsi when I can pay $1.98 instead. Now when I go to the store, sometimes I'll hear people ask the person that they're with as they're putting the product in their cart "how can they charge this much?" or "why does this cost so much?" or "why are these prices so high?". The answer is simple. IT'S BECAUSE YOU PAY IT!!

I've never been a big fan of garage sales. I don't know why, maybe I just don't like going through other people's junk. But this year I want to do stuff out of the ordinary for me. I want to step outside of the box. So I'm going to go to Yard sales, Garage sales, Estate sales, Estate auctions, Storage auctions and Thrift stores. Who knows, maybe I'll find that Million dollar prize that's out there waiting for me.

I plan to chronicle my experiences on this website and see what happens and how it evolves.
